A cross between a red raspberry and a black raspberry, this purple raspberry is less invasive, it "stays put" where it is planted. Brandywine is a large, gorgeous berry with tart, fall flavor. Zone 3 growers may see some winter dieback, but vigorous growth will make up for this; we grow it successfully in Potsdam, NY.
