Krasnobokaya Pear

A Russian pear and another newcomer! Krasnobokaya, meaning something akin to “red-sided,” is appropriately named. This medium-sized green pear will develop a very slight blush as it ripens. Sweet, buttery flesh and fruit that will keep up to 2 months in proper storage. Originally evaluated by the South-Ural research institute of Fruit & Vegetable Growing.
