Developed by the USDA. June-bearing variety with large, conical, classically beautiful berries; glossy and bright red. All Star has excellent flavor, firm texture, and resistance to common strawberry diseases like verticillium wilt, leaf scorch, powdery mildew, and red stele. Vigorous plants produce high yields; typically ripening in mid-season. All Star strawberries are versatile; ideal for fresh eating, freezing, and desserts. Can be tender in zone 3.
