Released by the USDA in cooperation with Rutgers University in 1955, Blueray is a classic mid-season northern highbush that remains a U-pick favorite across cold climates. It produces exceptionally large, sweet berries with firm texture. A vigorous, upright shrub with glossy blue fruit and burgundy fall foliage. Susceptible to blueberry shoestring virus.
