Despite the name, this is a variety of Asian pear. Among the only cold-hardy varieties out there! This round, crisp, pear can indeed resemble an apple, hence the unfortunate name. TAP is extremely vigorous, productive, and disease resistant; great candidate for harsh climates. Stores for 8+ months.
